Like a sunflower turns it's head to the sun

I head for you when my day is done

And we'll lie together in the sun's every ray

When the clouds all roll away.

As the flowers hide themselves from the night

They close their blooms up safe and tight

They'll come out again in the light of day

When the clouds all roll away.

When the clouds have gone

We'll all sing a different song

No more rain will come our way

When the clouds have rolled away.

I'll come to see you when the sky is blue

I'll tell you no lies, I'll tell you true

I'll tell you I love you and see what you say

When the clouds all roll away.

I'll hold a buttercup under your chin

And kiss the yellow on your skin

We'll wish the Summer would always stay

When the clouds all roll away.

We'd hold hands by a silver stream

Float sticks on the water, cool and clean

Take our rest in the new mown hay

When the clouds all roll away.
